Back in April 1954, a star was born in Alexander, Gauteng Province, South Africa. He would grow into a community leader, father, educator, and prolific soccer player. His name was Isaac Molepa Sefako Seabela, but he was better known as "Sea Water" among his friends and avid soccer enthusiasts. His skills and humility, both on and off the soccer field, were as overwhelming and comforting as sea water itself. He was a snazzy dresser of his time. Most importantly, Sefako was a loving father to all his children, including the Director and Chairman, Ngoako Seabela.
Ngoako is a well-traveled young lawyer. Hailing from the village of Segopje Ga-Mamabolo, he has been influenced by luxury hotels worldwide, particularly South African cuisine and landscape. With a knack for good architecture, self-taught interior design skills, and an insatiable palate for good food, Ngoako has decided to bring the taste and comfort of the world back home. He meticulously designed and furnished the interior of the bedrooms himself, creating a feeling of luxury and home simultaneously.
Founded in 2019 and launched on December 16, 2021, the concept of the lodge was built around the life and times of Sea Water, as we affectionately called him. Like its namesake, the Sea Water Boutique Lodge exudes love, care, luxury, and comfort. The boutique lodge is among the best luxury accommodations in Mankweng, offering conferencing facilities and fine dining.
We hope that our guests enjoy staying with us as much as we love having them and tending to their needs.
Indeed, luxury has a new name in Mankweng: Sea Water Boutique Lodge.
